FAQ for Renters
Does Bidavilla take a security deposit or cleaning fees for the listings?
If the unit owner required a deposit that would be worked out directly with the owner. Bidavilla processes the rental payment and cleaning fee if required.
Is there a processing fee for credit card payments?
All fees due from the renter, including credit card processing, are included in our 7% administration fee assessed to the renter which is based on the total cost of the rental.
What are 'HOT DEALS'?
HOT DEAL AUCTIONS: This is where you have the opportunity to save even more! In the event that an owner’s property is not rented within 28 days of the current date, the owner can opt to participate in Hot Deals. With Hot Deals owners have agreed to reduce their reserve to 50% of the "Rent It Now" price. To take advantage of Hot Deals you can search for Hot Deals in the location to which you’ll be traveling. If you select the search criterion for a Hot Deal, then ONLY Hot Deals will be displayed. Hot Deal auctions last for only 3 days, but otherwise operate in the same manner as a regular auction.
