What is Bidavilla.com?
We are a website venue that provides property owners the ability to maximize the earning potential of their vacation rentals through high quality marketing, regular rentals and rental auctions. Bidavilla is a marketplace designed to be a win/win situation for both travelers and property owners.
How much does it cost to list my properties on Bidavilla.com?
It is completely free to list all your properties. There will never be any subscription or membership fee.
How does Bidavilla.com make profit then?
Our site operates on a commission basis only. Owners get charged 5% only when we fill vacancies. We do this to show incentive to the owners. We only get paid if we fill your vacancies no matter how many listings you post.

What happens if my auction doesn't end at the price I want?
Before the auction ever begins, the owner sets a reserve price during the listing process of the rental. This ensures the rental auction cannot be won unless the owner's minimum market price is met.
Do I always have to auction or can I just list my properties?
Our site provides you with a few different options and gives you the ability to select the ones that best serve you. For example;
- Rent-it-Now: allows you to list your rental with a flat rate
- Auction: allows you to maximize earning potential
- Rent-it-Now & Auction: allows you to combine both of the above and puts the decision in the hands of the renter.

How do I get paid if Bidavilla.com processes payments directly?
Bidavilla pays our owners on the 15th and 30th of every month. You can choose between several payment methods e.g. Check, EFT, or Paypal. As your villa earns feedback you can receive payments weekly if you so choose.
How many pictures can to upload?
You can upload up to 14 images per listing.
How long do the auctions last for?
Regular auctions last for 5 days. You do not need to create auctions for your properties. Auctions are created for you once a bid is placed on a vacancy by a renter.
If bids on my auction keep climbing do I have the option to extend my auction?
Currently, auction durations are fixed and cannot be extended.

What are 'HOT DEALS'?
HOT DEAL AUCTIONS are a great way to maximize your property use and increase revenues. In the event your property is not rented within 28 days of the current date, you can opt to participate in Hot Deals. With Hot Deals you agree to reduce your unit reserve to 50% of the "Rent It Now" price. When prospective renters who will be traveling to your location search for Hot Deals, only Hot Deals will be displayed. This increases the likelihood of renting your unit when it appears that it will not be rented. Hot Deal auctions last for only 3 days, but otherwise operate in the same manner as a regular auction.
What happens if I chooses to retract the winning bid?
Owners may only retract a bid if a traveler does not meet the specific requirements to stay in the villa (e.g. age). The next highest bidder whose bid is above the reserve and who meets the requirements will be automatically selected.
What is Feedback? How does it work?
Feedback allows renters to leave their comments about the vacation rentals they stayed in. Over time owners will accumulate a feedback rating. Renters will also accumulate a feedback rating as owners leave feedback about them.
How does your referral program work?
You receive 7 days of commission free rentals for each listing you upload. You receive 7 days of commission free rentals for each listing your friends upload. They in turn will also receive the same 7 days you do for their listings.
